Fritz the Feline

Added a new painting in my Etsy shop today. Looks like "Fritz" or "Fritzie" whichever sex you'd like it to be....is a little perturbed because his owner won't let him get that little songbird in the tree. All she wants to do is listen to the little Songbird sing the sounds of Summer. Oh well.

An Angel and her Kitty

Today was my day of discontentment.....I changed this painting because frankly the more I looked at it the more it bothered me.....soooo, I totally changed it. Now I'm pleased with it.

New Painting ME AND TABBY TOO

For all you little Tabby Lovers.....It's so gloomy out today....we've had so much darn rain I decided to perk myself up. She turned out a little more serious than I intended but I think Little Tabby Too is a hoot. Even though I've never owned cats, I've always loved painting them. I had 2 little Poms that were just my heart and when they had to be put down 3 yrs ago it totally devastated me. But I'm around cats all the time since my friends all have them and have always found them totally facinating! These two reside presently at my Etsy Shop. Well, well, surprise, surprise.....she is SOLD...wow, I'm excited....THANKS SO MUCH!

HOPE FAIRY

Today what started out to be a little Fairy holding a kitten sort of evolved into this.....don't know why. I love butterflies and I think they signify HOPE or new journeys. Also, I kept thinking "Hope Gives You Wings"....then I knew what I would paint. We all have hope for something whether it be hope for our destiny, our health, or our future journeys. This turned out to be a far cry from holding a kitten don't you think? I'm really enjoying this experimenting with textures, colors and mediums...so much fun.

I'm forever trying new things and here's one that I went totally another direction from what I usually do. As I told you before I get bored very easily and ADORE trying new journeys and adventures.....sooooo here she is and is residing at my Shop on Etsy. LIL' BIT LOVEE

This is the little 2 inch doll I just finished and this is how she looks along side of my 3 inch dolls. This was really challenging but fun. They will both reside at my Etsy shop until they are one day adopted.
