Still trying out my first lesson on Organic Backgrounds....I was pleased with this one. Seems to be my week for Butterflies.

Everyone always asks me what I did on my day off.....well, here she is. I made myself do a painting today but once I got into it I just played and played.....it was soooo much fun.

Well, it's been awhile but I finally have painted a few things....here's one of them. I've had a little stress lately and am trying to pull myself out of it by painting a few of my favorite things.....Folk art girls, butterflies, and birds.......She resides on Etsy......SOLD...THANKS SO MUCH!

Finished SISTERS Angels Painting for my Birthday

Well, I kinda worked on this off and on today.....and finally finished. This was painted on a 10x10 Oak Wood Board so it ran off my scanner, but at least you can see what it looks like. I think this could possibly be 2 SISTER ANGELS....haven't decided yet. Do you think?

TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!

TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY! YEAH.....notice I didn't say which one? I want my whole day to be filled with nothing but fun.....any suggestions? Of course my MAIN thrill will be spent later in the day with my Daughter and my 3 precious GRANDsons. Sadly I won't be with my Son because he lives in Charleston, SC but he sent me an EGram 1st thing this a.m. , so that made me very happy. I painted myself a pin to wear all day for fun....seeee, I'm a KIDDER [& just a kid at heart].

Also, I have started a large painting of my favorite things to paint....this is the rough draft and hopefully if I finish today I will add the finished one. But here's what I have so far.

I will close with a great Birthday saying....Some people no matter how old they get, never lose their beauty; they merely move it from their faces to their hearts.
